FLL Scrimmage

We supported an FLL scrimmage with FTC team 5037 - got robot?. We helped 17 FLL teams prepare by providing them feedback through judging, helping 7 out of the 17 teams advance to the Illinois State Championships. We also taught many younger kids about FTC, with both our team and got robot? driving demo bots by the pit.

Preschool Science Fair

We also ran a science fair at Bethlehem Lutheran Preschool to motivate young kids' love for STEM. We presented science experiments, showed them models, and drove a demo robot. We also talked to them about FIRST opportunities for students of all ages, from FLL, to FTC and FRC.

FLL Scrimmage

We supported an FLL scrimmage with team members providing robot demonstrations, answering questions about what the move from FLL to FTC is like, and volunteering as judges to give teams feedback on their presentations. 

FTC Scrimmage

We hosted teams 5037 got robot? and 12682 The Golden Ratio for a scrimmage prior to Meet 3. All three teams uncovered opportunities to improve their robots - in the first match - at the same time. There was great, friendly competition, an exchange of solutions to design challenges, and a lunch from V&V Paesano, one of our sponsors.
